This year sees our family run business celebrate its 40 year anniversary.
From humble beginnings when Michael Watson and Alan Godsave set up an injection moulding facility in Hoddesdon, Hertfortshire, to service the television industry, it was all hands on deck. Michael employed his mother and father as well as each of his children to keep the factory running. After 6 years they bought a bigger, more presentable premises in Hertford. Sadly neither Michael nor Alan are with us and have passed away. Two people remain in the business from the beginning to this day; Adrian Watson, a weekend school boy worker now owner, and Clive Smith from young engineer to Technical Manager.
Based in Royston, Amco has spread into many industries and continues to diversify. We celebrate 40 years by launching our newly designed website which we hope you find useful.
We aim to ensure that the next 40 years is as good as the last.
